MANAGEMENT STUDIES - (1 Year Certificate Program)

IS THIS PROGRAM FOR YOU?

Do you like to take charge? Make decisions?
Does working with people energize you?
Are you a practical, hands-on type of person? Someone who can solve problems?
If so, you’re an ideal candidate for the Management Studies program.

QUALITIES OF EXCELLENT MANAGERS

The best managers are leaders, coaches, decision-makers, problem-solvers and “people” people. They may also be planners, organizers, or technical experts.

Effective leaders must be able to create a vision for their organization; research business information; analyze financial and marketing data; use business technology; work with teams; influence people; and make hard decisions to move their organization forward.

ARE YOU:

A good communicator?
Able to figure out what makes people tick?
Committed to seeing the big picture while still attending to detail?
Analytical and a good problem solver?
Decisive yet open to the ideas of others?

You don’t need these skills to get into the Management Studies program (we’ll help you grow into them) but you should aspire to develop these attributes during your studies.

If you’re not sure how long you want to commit to post-secondary studies, be assured you can continue your education anytime after you graduate from the Management Studies program. Many of our grads pursue a variety of career paths before returning to university to complete a Bachelor’s degree.
